Okay - so we have to keep a blog for the Intro to Electronic Music class. Apparently my brain translated that into “Start a general purpose blog, Ionut! It’s high time you had one!”.

Slave to my own brain that I am, I said “why not?” and started on this. Actually, I got started on a much bigger back-end & design, but it just won’t be ready in useful time for the MUSI295a class (from now on, the Intro to Electronic Music class will be called by any shortening I feel like using at the time), and has already made me extremely late in starting the actual manageable blog.

I went on a huge search for WordPress plug-ins and themes, and found a few (soon it’ll be my own theme, but that has to wait for a bigger gap in my work load… I’m bogged down as it is) and put them on here. Why WordPress, you may ask. It’s simple: I just had to press a couple of buttons on my hosting admin site and voila! I know I’m a creature of convenience, you don’t have to remind me…

For the actual class, the “Music” category should be interesting - and what I’m going to provide as a sub-blog somehow (probably try to route sound.seventh-shape.com to verbavolant.seventh-shape.com/topics/music or somesuch).

Other than that, what can I say in this, the first post?
