Umm… this is supposed to be somewhat of a trip-hop piece - mostly recycled from Lamb, Massive Attack, Coldplay and random heartbeat samples off the internet.

Okay - It’s 5:29am and I just finished my 2nd assignment for Intro to Electronic Music… It doesn’t sound too bad, but then again, it’s not too good, either. Oh, well… Here, listen for yourself:

In my Internet surfing, I came across a really interesting ad for fightglobalwarming.com. Its entire premise is a musique concrete play on recorded “tick”s. Hear for yourself! (and help fight global warming! )

It’s that time of the week: the assignments are due and I’m done with my composition. This week’s feature: cow sounds! :D. To those back home, you all know why they’re featured. To those who don’t, expect a follow-up “Life” blog.

In my desire to not be one of the few here left out when instrument playing is mentioned (and due in no small part to my sudden desire to take MUSI295a), I just bought an electronic keyboard to plug into my computer. After hours of research, I settled on the E-MU Xboard 49, described here http://www.keyboardmag.com/article/e-mu-xboard/sep-05/13060 and pictured at the end of this post.
